Old and New Friends Connect

We are all back to a "normal" schedule... or at least back to our lives after retreating with a great group of old and new friends.  It is amazing the distance we all came from. Now being able to stay connected is what the intention is here.

I have been an occasional blogger for many years.  Occasional is the key word here.  Computer technology changes all the time, and although once upon a time I was a computer tech... I don't get all the latest as clear in my head as I once did.  If there is something you are aware can be done that I have not included... please bring it to my attention.

I am initially setting this up as a public access blog.  After each of our "Retreat" quilters has joined the group here, I will then change it to a restricted group which means a user will not have access if I have not given that permission.  Once I have added you to the group, you will then have permission to post pictures and/or post to the blog.

In order to be granted permission for our blog, you are required to have a Google account, which many of you already have.  You can ask me to add you in the comments section of this post, or send an email message with your request to be added.  Either way, once I have your gmail account I will add you as an author on this blog.  If you want to do this but are unsure how to proceed, send a message to me by email.
